Welcome to my page. My name is John Fuentes and I am the founder of Words That Live.
Many people ask me to describe myself. In my attempt to tell them, one question comes to mind: Who am I?
Based upon this question alone, many other questions follow. Am I John, the kid whose life’s long dream was to make to the NFL? Am I John the poet? Am I John the thinker?
Am I John the hopeless romantic? Am I John the good friend? Will I make a difference in this world? And if so, how?
For so long I searched my heart for the answers to all these questions. Over time I realized there is one answer. I am all the above. And in everything I do, I will make a difference. I always believed in following your dreams. In your life’s quest for happiness, you must achieve self awareness. Know thy self and you will unlock the secrets of the world. That secret is you! Your mind will become one with everything you put your heart into and what you once thought was impossible will become very much achievable.
This is who I am. I am the dreamer. I am the football player. I am the poet. I am the thinker. I am the hopeless romantic who found his hope. I am going to make a difference. I am going to leave my finger print on this world.
I started Words That Live because I believe everyone has the ability to bring life to their words. Words capture meaning in a way no action or physical beauty can. What we see with our eyes can impact us for a long time. But what we hear with our hearts can resonate in lives forever. Words can echo the memories and dreams of generations before us and words can bridge us to the amazing feats we will accomplish in our future. After everything is all said and done. It’ll be our words that are the blue print of our society. Words speak of life. Hopefully, my words can inspire life inside you!
WHAT INSPIRES ME TO WRITE?
There are many inspirations that motivate me to write. Passion, Desire, Courage, Sympathy, Fear, but there’s none more powerful then Love.
Love is the ultimate force that drives me to create. Love inspires me to live. When I sit down to write I see a blank empty piece of paper. I look into my heart and see the reflection of my love starring at me. As I begin to write, my words fill that paper and capture my life, my feelings, my emotions and thoughts and it’ll live forever in poetic form. What was once a blank empty piece of paper, now resemble my heart. The paper takes of life of its own. The flow of my words is the rhythm of my heart beat. When you read my work, you are discovering what’s most intimate about me… which is my Love.

Hey John how's things my friend..? sorry for being a stranger man i've been busy.. Hope all is good with you man, I see you've posted another poem im'a read it now
Thank you for reading all my poems and for your comments. I sincerely hope my words truly touch everyone that reads them and possibly help someone get through their situation. If they can see that i had many hard times and got through it, then perhaps they will gain the courage. I would love to get these published but im not sure if they are that good and i have no idea where to start with that. I can dream anyway!!!
